About Jebel Abu Khashaba

Jebel Abu Khashaba is a beautiful abseiling route developed by the Wadi Rum Rock Climb team. From the summit, enjoy breathtaking views of Wadi Rum’s contrasting red and white desert landscapes, creating one of the most beautiful panoramas in the area.

The route features five abseils, with the longest descent measuring approximately 15 metres. It is a great introduction to abseiling for beginners and families with children, subject to age and safety requirements.

The route starts on the northern side of the mountain and finishes in the south, followed by a walk through a scenic sandstone siq.
