About the Haj Route

The Haj Route is located on Jebel Suwaitbit in the southern part of Wadi Rum, approximately a 40-minute drive from Wadi Rum Village. It is one of the most beautiful traditional climbing routes in the south, offering a memorable adventure through spectacular sandstone terrain.

The route is especially enjoyable in winter, when the wall receives plenty of sunshine. During summer, an early start is recommended to avoid the heat and enjoy better climbing conditions.
